HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolutions-2012-21RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -21 A RESOLUTION SETTING EMPLOYEE MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT RATES BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA. Whereas, the City Council has a policy to reimburse City employees for use of their own vehicles for city business use at the IRA mileage reimbursement rate, and; Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin agrees that employees will be reimbursed for mileage as set forth in publications by the Internal Revenue Service. These will be adjusted as appropriate; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to adopt the IRS mileage rate for employee vehicle usage reimbursement. On the 9t" day of May, 2012, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Weipert introduced Resolution No. 2012 -21, A RESOLUTION SETTING EMPLOYEE MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT RATES and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton. Ayes: Ball, Weipert, Bartels, Upton. Nays: none. Absent: Ryan. Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the Resolution No. 2012 -21, A RESOLUTION SETTING EMPLOYEE MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT RATES be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
