THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. 3 ~ 3
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND INCORPORATING
CERTAIN LAND WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY
OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS:
Section 1. Annexation
The following described land, including adjacent rights-of-way, that abuts property
which is within the corporate limits of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, comes to the City of Bel
Aire for annexation upon the written consent for annexation by its owners, and therefore
meets one or more of the conditions for annexation prescribed in K.S.A. 12-520, is hereby
annexed and incorporated within the corporate limits of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, to-wit:
A tract of land with a boundary legally described as beginning at a point
526.31 feet East of the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section
19, Township 26 South, Range 2 East of the 6th P.M.; thence South parallel
to the West line of said Southwest Quarter 827.46 feet; thence West parallel
to the North line of said Southwest Quarter to the West line of said
Southwest Quarter; thence South to a point lying 715 feet North of the
Southwest corner of Section 19; thence East 50 feet; thence North 250 feet
to the Northwest corner of Catholic Life 1 sl Addition; an addition to Bel Aire,
Sedgwick County, Kansas; thence East 1160 feet along the North line of
said addition; thence Northeasterly 583.49 feet along said boundary of said
addition; thence East 880 feet to the Northeast corner of said addition, said
point also lying on the East line of the Southwest Quarter of Section 19,
Township 26 South, Range 2 East, Sedgwick County, Kansas; thence North
along said East line of said Southwest Quarter of Section 19 to the Northeast
corner of said Southwest Quarter of Section 19; thence West along the
North line of said Southwest Quarter of Section 19 to the point of beginning.

Section 2. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the
official city newspaper.
