AN ORDINANCE REGULATING PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES WITHIN
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON$ MISSOURI, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for the operator of
a motor vehicle to permit the same to be parked for a
period of time in excess of two (2) hours at the east
curb or the west curb of Lafayette Street between the
south curb of Capitol Avenue and the north line of
Commercial Avenue ( being the east west public alley
running parallel with and lying between Capitol Avenue
and High Street ) .
Section 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of
this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and
take effect from and after its passage and approval.
