AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 58-(A)-(1)-(5) OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI REGULATING THE
PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON BOLIVAR STREET BETWEEN ITS
RP INTERSECTIONS WITH WATER STREET AND MAIN STREET, AND ENACT-
ING A NEW ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 58-(A)-(1)-(5) of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956,
regulating the parking of motor vehicles on Bolivar Street
between its intersections with Water Street and Main Street
be, and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. All motor vehicles shall be parked on the
west side of Bolivar Street, between its intersections with
Water Street and Main Street, in such a manner that the
front wheels of said motor vehicle shall be closer to the
west curb of Bolivar Street than the rear wheels of said
motor vehicle, and the right side of said motor vehicle
shall form a thirty (301) degree angle with the west curb
of said street .
Section 3. All motor vehicles shall be parked on the
east side of Bolivar Street, between its intersections with
Water Street and Main Street, in such a manner that the rear
wheels of said motor vehicle shall be closer to the east curb
of Bolivar Street than the front wheels of said motor vehicle,
and the right side of said motor vehicle shall form a thirty
(30°) degree angle with the east curb of said street.
Section 4. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a
motor vehicle to park the same in violation of the terms of
Sections 2 and 3 of this ordinance, and anyone violating the
terms of Section 2 or Section 3 of this ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect from and after its passage add approval.
