AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES
C WITHIN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AND PROVIDING A
PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI j AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. All persons operating motor vehicles in a
westerly direction on Captiol Avenue when approaching the
intersection of Capitol Avenue with Capitol Avenue Extension
shall yield the right of way to motor vehicles being
operated on Capitol Avenue Extension wbi.ch have entered
the intersection of Capitol .Avenue and Capitol Avenue
Extension or which are approaching so closely to the
intersection of Caitol Avenue and Capitol Avenue Extension
as to constitute a hazard of collision in said intersection
if the motor vehicle being operated in a westerly direction
on Capitol Avenue proceeds into said intersection because
the operator thereof failed to yield the right of way.
Section 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect from and after its passage and approval.
