ORDINANCE N0. 7183
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORbAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a
motor vehilce exiting from Clark Avenue and entering the access
roads to the Rex M. Whitton Expressway (U.. S. Highways 50 & 63)
to fail to yield the right of way at the junction of said access
roads and said Expressway to motor vehicles in motion on the
Expressway that would constitute a hazard of collision on the
Expressway if the operator of the motor vehicle on the access
roads proceeded into said Expressway without so yielding the
right of way.
Section 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval ,
