AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 7062 OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , RELATING TO THE SALARIES AND
COMPENSATION OF ALL ELECTIVE AND APPOINTIVE OFFICIALS
AND EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY, BY REPEALING SUBPARAGRAPH
(D) OF SECTION 3 THEREOF, and ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE
TO BE KNOWN AS SUBPARAGRAPH (D) OF SECTION 3 THEREOF,
RELATING TO THE SALARY OF THE CITY ENGINEER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Subparagraph (d) of Section 3 of Ordinance
Number 7062 relating to the salary and compensation to
be paid to the City Engineer be, and the same is hereby,
repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby enacted a new ordinance to
be known as subparagraph (d) of Section 3 of Ordinance No.
7062, which shall read in words and figures as follows:
" Section 3. Compensation of appointive officials
and employees.
(d) The City Engineer shall receive the sum of
Six Hundred and Fifty ($650.00) Dollars per
month and the use of a city owned automobile
in the performance of his duties.
Section 3. Upon its passage and approval, this ordinance
shall take effect and be considered in force as of February
1, 1962.
