AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI% CHANGING, AMEND-
ING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS
INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NO. 5880 OF SAID CITY, BY REZONING
CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE FROM ITS PRESENT
"B" TWO FAMILY MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT TO AN "A-21' SINGLE
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, has been petitioned in writing for the rezoning of
certain real estate , hereinafter specifically described, from
its present "B" Two Family Multiple Dwelling District Class-
ification to an "A-2" Single Family Dwelling District Class-
ification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said city referred said
petition for rezoning to the Planning & Zoning Commission
of said city, and
WHEREAS, said Planning & Zoning Commission, after notice
and hearing to all interested parties and appropriate study
and consideration has recommended to the City Council that
said real estate , hereinafter specifically described, be
rezoned as petitioned, and
WHEREAS, said City Council, subpequent to receipt of said
recommendation, by its City Clerk has caused a notice of hearing
to be published for three consecutive days in a newspaper of
general circulation with the City of Jefferson, the last day
of publication being more than fifteen (15) days prior to the
date of said hearing, wherein such notice of hearing all persons
interested in the recommendation of the Planning & Zoning
Commission were requested to appear before the City Council
at the time and place specified in said notice of hearing for
the purpose of expressing their views in support of or in
opposition to said recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said city has caused said
hearing to be held and heard the views of all persons appearing
and desiring to be heard concerning the passage and approval of
an ordinance implementing the recommendation of the Planning &
Zoning Commission U rezoning the land as petitioned,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The Zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri
as incorporated into Ordinance No. 5880 of said city is hereby
changed, amended and modified to reflect the rezoning of the
following des-¢lied land from its present "B" Two Family Multiple
Dwelling District to an "A-2" Single Family Dwelling District:
All land and real estate lying in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri , bounded by the south line of Dunklin Street,
the east line of Jackson Street, the north line of
Franklin Street and the west line of Lafayette Street.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval .
