AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION W OF TRUCKS LICENSED FOR
IN EXCESS OF SIX THOUSAND (63000) POUNDS ON DIXON DRIVE BETWEEN
ITS INTERSECTIONS WITH HOUGH PARK ROAD AND GREENBERRY ROAD, AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for the operator of any
truck licensed by the State of Missouri for a gross weight in
excess of six thousand (6,000) pounds to be operated on Dixon
Drive between its intersections with Hough Park Road and
Greenberry Road unless said truck has a commercial destination
or pointcf: origin on Dixon Drive.
Section 2. The Street Commissioner shall erect Signs
on Dixon Drive at its intersections with Hough Park Road and
Greenberry Road informing all truck operators that Dixon Drive
may not be used for Through Truck Traffic on all trucks licensed
for a gross weight in excess of sic thousand (6,000) pounds.
Section 3. Anyone violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
from and after its passage and approval.
