Section 1 . Section X47 of the Revised Ordinances of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1906,1 levying* a tax in the
amount of one (1 fl cent per Fallon on all gasoline sold within
the city limits of the Cit,,T of Jefferson City, Missouri , be,
and the same is hereby, repealed.
Section 2. All gasoline tax money dine to the City of
Jefferson, Missouri for the month of March, 1962 and for any
preceding month shall be payable on the 16th day of April,
1962, and any person .failing to pay any gasoline tax due to
the City of Jefferson, Missouri for gasoline sold within the
city limits of the City of Jefferson City during March of 1952,
or any preceding month, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and be punished by a fine of not less than ".15 .00 nor more than
" 100.00 per day, and each day in delay of payment of said tax
after April 15, 1962 shall be deemed a separate offense.
Section 3 . This ordinance shall take effect and be
' n force as of April 1, 1962 from and after its passage and
pproval.
