AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 405 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS SAME APPEARS IN SECTION 2 OF
ORDINANCE NUMBER 7038 OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
BY DELETING THEREFROM THE TERRITORIAL DESCRIPTIONS OF THE
2ND PRECINT AND 3RD PRECINT OF THE FIRST WARD AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARIES OF THE 2ND PRECINT AND THE 3RD PRECINT OF THE
FIRST WARD AS VOTING PRECINTS OF THE FIRST WARD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Section 405 of the Revised Ordinances of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as same appears of record
in Section 2 of Ordinance Number 7038 of said City be, and
the same is hereby amended, by deleting therefrom the
territorial descriptions of the voting precints of the 2nd
precint and 3rd precint of the Fird Ward as described in
Section 405 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, and inserting in lieu thereof, the
following descriptions of the 2nd precint and 3rd precint
of the First Ward as voting precints within the City of
Jefferson, Missouri;
2nd Precint:
North - center line of the Missouri River.
West - center line of Cherry Street and extension thereof.
South - center line of Miller Street.
® East - center line of Clark Avenue to the center line
of McCarty Street; center line of McCarty Street
to the center line of Benton Street; center line
of Benton Street to. center line of High Street;
center line of High Street to the center line of
Dawson Street; thence along and with the center
line of Dawson Street, and an extension thereof,
to the north line of Capitol Avenue; thence along
a line that is 225 feet westerly of and parallel
to the easterly line of Outlots 44, 47, 48 and 50
to the centerline of the Missouri River.
3rd Precint:
North -- center line of the Missouri River.
West center line of Clark Avenue to the center line
of McCarty Street; center line of McCarty Street
to the centerline of Benton Street; center line
eof Benton Street to the centerline of High Street;
center line of High Street to the center line of
Dawson Street; thence along and with the center
line of Dawson Street, and an extension thereof,
to the north line of Capitol Avenue, thence along
a line that is 225 feet westerly of and parallel
to the easterly line of Outlots 444 47, 48 and 50
to the center line of the Missouri River.
Section 2. In all other respects all provisions of Section
® 405 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
® 1956, as enacted and set forth in Ordinance Number 7038 of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, shall continue to be and remain in
full force and effect.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passagerand approval.
