AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK THEREOF TO EXECUTE FOR AND IN
THE NAME OF SAID CITY A WARRANTY DEED CONVEYING A LIFE ESTATE
TO EUGENE KLEE FOR THE LIFE OF EUGENE KLEE, AS LONG AS EUGENE
KLEE LIVES ON THE PREMISES CONVEYED, TO A 1.9 ACRE TRACT OF LAND
FORMING A PART OF NEW MADRID PRIVATE SURVEY NO. 2638, IN TOWNSHIP
44 NORTH, RANGE 11 WEST, IN CALLAWAY COUNTY, MISSOURI , AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY TO CAUSE SAID DEED TO BE
DELIVERED TO THE SAID EUGENE KLEE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, are hereby authorized and directed, for
and in the name of said City, to execute a Warranty Deed
conveying a life estate to Eugene Klee, for the natural life
of said Eugene Klee as long as Eugene Klee lives on the premises
conveyed, to a 1.9 acre tract of land forming a part of New
Madrid Private Survey No. 2638 in Township 44 North, Range 11
West, in Callaway County, Missouri.
Section 2. Said warranty deed referred to in Section 1
of this ordinance shall be dated as of April 18, 1962, and the
City Clerk is hereby directed to cause said deed to be delivered
to Eugene Klee upon the proper execution thereof.
Section 3 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
® from and after its passage and approval.
