HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD07226 ORDINANCE N0. 2T 26 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , REGULATING THE PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONs MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS : Section 1. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to permit the same to be parked on the east half or at the east curb of Monroe Street between the south curb of McCarty Street and a point on the east curb of Monroe Street located ninety six (96) feet south of the south curb of McCarty Street. Section 2. The preceding section of this ordinance shall not apply to or affect the parking of motor vehicles or motor- cycles owned by the Jefferson City Police Department. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval. Section 4. Anyone violating any of the terms of Section 1 of this ordinance, except employees of the Jefferson City Police Department who may park motor vehicles or motorcycles within the area designated in Section 1 of this ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. ® Passed: May 219 1962 Approved: May 21, 1962 President of the Cou it Mayo Attest: City Clerk •
