2� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REGULATING
THE OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES WITHIN SAID CITY AND PROVIDING
A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The driver of any motor vehicle, being
operated in a northerly or southerly direction on Cherry
Street, when approaching and nearing the intersection of
Cherry Street with Miller Street, shall yield the right
of way to the driver of a motor vehicle, being operated
in an easterly or westerly direction on Miller Street,
which is sufficiently near to the intersection of Cherry
and Miller Street as to constitute a danger or hazard of
collision if the driver of the motor vehicle being operated
on Cherry Street fails to yield the right of way immediately
prior to permitting said vehicle to enter the intersection
of Cherry Street and Miller Street.
Section 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
