MN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING;
ENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE SAID C/DIRICT
CORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, AS AMENDED
ONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED PROPERTY FR
D RICT "E" LOCAL CO�ERCIAL CLASSIFICATION TO A
"A " SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL CLASSIFICATION.
HEREAS , the Planning & Zoning Commission of t
of Je erson, Missouri, at a meeting held on April 18, 1962,
of its wn motion, did recommend that the City Co cil of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, rezone the land ereinafter
described from its present "E" Local Commercial lassification
to an "A-2 ' Single Family Residential Classific tion, and
WHERE said recommendation was made to he said City
Council by a eport of the Planning & Zoning ommission dated
April 19, 196 and
WHEREAS, a the regular meeting of the ity Council of
the City of Jeff rson, Missouri, held May 7 , 1962, the said
City Council did eceive said report, and
y: WHEREAS, the ty of Jefferson, Mis ouri, by its City
Clerk, has caused a otice of hearing f the purpose of
rezoning be publishe three consecutiv7 days in a newspaper
of general circulatio within the City„ of Jefferson, Missouri,
the last date of publi tion being more than 7_'5 days prior to
the date of the hearing tated in s�Vtd notice of rezoning, and

WHEREAS , the date of hearing ,kated in said rezoning/was
stated to be July 2, 1962, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor of t eity of Jefferson, Missouri, has
caused said July 2, 1962 reg 'r monthly meeting of the City
Council of the City of Jeffer n, Missouri, to be postponed
until July 6, 1962, and 4
WHEREAS, all persons ntere ted in this matter of rezoning
that appeared at the Coun it Cham er of the City Hall Building
:st the ho r of 8:00 p.m. have been
on Monday, July 2, 1962,
advised that said reco endation of the Planning & Zoning
Commission will be con idered at the hearing of said City
Council on July 6, 19 , and have bee requested to appear at
said July 6, 1962 meeting to be heard ither in support of or
in opposition to the recommendation of he Planning & Zoning
Commission, and
.; WHEREAS, on ryihis 6th day of July, 19 , the City Council

BE IT ORDAIN BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY F JEFFERSON,
' MISSOURI, FOLLOWS:
Sect on 1. The Zoning Map of the City of Je erson,
`} Missourio as incorporated into Ordinance No. 5880 f said
r' City, ai''amended, is hereby amended, changed and m ified
to reflect the rezoning of the following described eLnd from
its present District "E" Local Commercial Classificatgion to
a District "A-2" Single Family Residential Classifica ion, and
they'land hereinafter descfibed is hereby rezoned from District
"E"l to District "A-211:

"Part of the Southwest quarter of Fractional
Section 1, Township 44 North, Range 12 West,
in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, And more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the easterly side of
40 the Boonville Road, which is 1356.21 feet
south of the township line between Townships
44 and 45, -Range 12 West; thence North 780
East, 203.46 feet; thence South 11° 22 minutes
East, 104 feet; thence South 780 West, 198.5
feet; thence northerly along the line of said
Boonville Road, 104 feet, to the point of
beginning."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
