AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSCURI, CREATING A
"BUS ZONE", AND REGULATING THE PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES
THEREIN AND PROVIDING A- PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, .AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Bus Zone Established. There is hereby created
and established a "bus zone" at the west curb of Broadway
Street between the south curb of High Street and a point on
the west curb of Broadway Street that is eighty three (83)
feet south of the• south curb of High Street.
Section 2. Use of Bus Zone. The bus zone created and
established by the preceding section of this ordinance shall
be used only by the operators of busses owned by the Jefferson
City Lines, Inc. , or its successors, when picking up and
discharging passengers.
Section 3. Prohibited Use of Bus Zone. It is hereby
declared to be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle,
other than a motor bus owned by the Jefferson City Lines,
Inc. , or its successors, to permit said motor vehicle to be
parked within the limits of the bus zone as described in
section one of this ordinance.
® Section 4. Anyone violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
