AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , REGULATING
THE OPERATION OF M®R VEHICLES WITHIN SAID CITY AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The operator of a motor vehicle being driven
from the Rex M. Whitton Expressway (U.S. Highways 50 & 63),
over either of the exit roads leading from said Expressway
to Clark Avenue, shall yield the right of way to the operator
of a motor vehicle being driven on Clark Avenue if the
motor vehicle being operated on Clark Avenue is so close
to the junction of Clark Avenue and the exit road being
used by the operator of theJmotor vehicle leaving said
Expressway as to constitute a danger oJR hazard of collision
with the motor vehicle being operated on the exit road
leading# from the Expressway if the operator of the latter
vehicle fails to so yield the right of way.
Section 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take- effect and be in
focr from and after its passage and approval.
