AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REGULATING
THE OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES WITHIN SAID CITY AND
AM PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The operator of a motor vehicle being driven
on Oakview Street shall yield the right of way to the
operator of a motor vehicle being driven on Ridgeway Street
if the motor vehicle being operated on Ridgeway Street is
so close to the intersection of Oakview Street and Ridgeway
Street as to constitute a danger or hazard of collision
with the motor vehicle being operated on Oakview Street
if the operator of the motor vehicle on Oakview Street
fails to so yield the right of way to the operator of the
motor vehicle on Ridgeway Street before permitting the
vehicle being operated on Oakview Street, to enter the
intersection formed by Oakview Street and Ridgeway Street.
ti Section 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
