NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Mayor and Council of the City of Tybee Island will hold Public Hearings at the Public
Safety Building, 78 Van Horn, on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at 7:00 pm. The Planning
Commission will have a meeting on Monday December 21, 2015. The purposes of these
Hearings are as follows:
1. Text Amendment – consideration of new ordinance pertaining to Tree Ordinance
a. Ordinance 52-2014, Land Development Code Article 7, Tree Ordinance \[the
proposed Article 7 would delete the current Article 7, Tree Removal Ordinance\]
2. Text Amendment –consideration of revisions to Public Notices
a. Section 5-050(A) Public Notice of Land Development Code
3. Text Amendment –consideration of revisions to Neighborhood Grocery store district
a. Section 4-050(R) Neighborhood Grocery of Land Development Code
4. Site Plan Approval – consideration of site plan approval for new multi-use building
a. Lot 28A Lovell Avenue -Parcel 4-0006-20-009 – Mike Hosti
b. Site Plan Approval (5-080)
Anyone wishing to speak to these issues may do so. It will be necessary to sign a Disclosure form
before the Hearings. The form is available at City Hall.
