AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ACCEPTING AND
-� APPROVING `. 111 PLAT OF LINCOLN SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CREATED BY KEITH W. I,,IAJOR,
GLADYU M. MAJOR, ROBERT J. MAJOR, EDI'ffl E. lvuAJOR AND E. P. BARNETT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Keith W. Ma j or, Gladys M. Major, Robert J. Major,
Edith E. Mlaj or and E. P. Barnett, owners of the real estate
hereinafter described and situated in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, having submitted to the City Council of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri for its approval a plat of said real estate
more particularly described as follows:
"Part of Outlot No. 72 and part of the Northwest
quarter of Section 16, Township 44, Range 11,
all in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole,
Missouri , and more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the southerly line of
Outlot 72 and on the westerly line of an alley,
which is 664.0 feet southeasterly from the
southwest corner thereof; thence northerly 511.96
feet along the westerly line of said alley; thence
S 840 46' E, 159. 89 feet; thence N 90 52' E, 27. 5
feet; thence N 170 50' E, 299.73 feet to the
center of a branch; thence, meandering the same
southeasterly, 812.1 feet to a point in the center
of Boggs Creek; thence, meandering the same south-
westerly 1133. 6 feet; thence leaving the center of
Boggs Creek, N 830 53' W, 121. 62 feet; thence S 250
15' W, 102.23 feet to the northerly line of High
Street; thence along said northerly line N 640 29'
W, 93. 12 feet; thence continuing along said northerly
line S 270 38' W, 5. 6 feet; thence along said
northerly line N 560 38' Pd, 4117 feet; thence N 250
15' E, 453.81 feet; thence N 720 38' W, 522.34 feet;
thence S 250 06' W, 52.0 feet; thence N 860 43' W,
22. 0 feet to the easterly line of an alley; thence
southerly along said easterly line to the northerly
line of High Street; thence northwesterly along said
northerly line, 22. 0 feet, to the point of beginning. "
as shown on the attached plat, known and referred to as Lincoln
Subdivision and made a part of this ordinance, all of which
Lincoln Subdivision is within the corporate limits of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, and it appearing that said plat
has been duly and properly signed and accepted by the owners
of said Subdivision, known and referred to as Lincoln
Subdivision, that all taxes on the land included therein have
been paid, and that in all respects the requirements of
Chapter 445 RSMo. 1959 and all pertinent ordinances of the
City of Jefferson, 1"lissouri, have been fully complied with by
the aforesaid owners of the land involved;
THEREFORE, the Plat of land owned by Keith W. Major,
Gladys M. Major, Robert J. Major, Edith E. Major and E. P.
Barnett, known and referred to as Lincoln Subdivision, lying
and being within the corporate limits of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as shown by the plat thereof hereto attached and made
a part of this ordinance, is hereby accepted and approved by the
city council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and the Mayor
of said city; and the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson, Missour ,
after passage and approval of this ordinance, is hereby directed
to endorse acceptance and approval of said Plat thereon, and
to certify to the approval of same under the seal of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
