AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REPEALING
ORDINANCES NUP,iBERED 6219 and 7160 OF SAID CITY REGULATING THE
PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES, AND ENr�CTING A NEW ORDINANCE
PERTAINING TO THE S,114E SUBJECT, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinances Numbered 6219 and 7160 of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, regulating parking of motor vehicles, be
and the same Are hereby repealed.
Section 2. Parallel and angle parking. All motor vehicles
parked on the streets, highways and alleys of this city, shall
be parked with the right side of the vehicle parallel to and
within one foot of the curb or curbline, except that on the
following named streets motor vehicles shall be parked in the
following manner:
A. The right side of the motor vehicle shall form a
thirty (30) degree angle with the curb with the
front wheels of the vehicle at the curbline.
(a) On the west side of Bolivar Street between
Main Street and State Street.
(b) On both sides of Dunklin Street between
Jefferson Street and Madison Street.
(c) On the east side of Jefferson Street between
Capitol Avenue and State Street.
(d) On both sides of Lafayette Street between
Capitol Avenue and State Street.
(e) On the east side of Madison Street between
McCarty Street and Miller Street.
(f) On the south side of Main Street between Clay
Street and Bolivar Street.
(g) On the east side of Monroe Street between
Capitol Avenue and State Street.
(h+); On the east side of Monroe Street between
Miller Street and a point on the east curb of
Miller Street 300 feet north of the north curb
of Miller Street.
(i) On the west side of Monroe Street between Miller
Street and McCarty Street.
(j ) On the west side of Washington Street between
High Street and McCarty Street.
(k) On the east side of Washington Street between
Ashley and Dunklin Street.
The right side of the motor vehicle shall form a
thirty (30) degree angle with the curb with the
rear wheels of the vehicle at the curbline:
(a) On the west side of Broadway between Main Street
and High Street.

(b) On the east side of Bolivar Street between Main
Street and Water Street.
(c) On the west side of 14onroe Street between Skate
Street and Capitol Avenue.
C. The left side of the motor vehicle shall form a
thirty (30) degree angle with the curb with the
front wheels of the vehicle at the ourbline:
(a) On the east side of Adams Street between
High Street and McCarty Street.
(b) On -the east side of Washington Street between
the public alley known as Wall Street and
McCarty Street.
D. The front end of the motor vehicle shall be
perpendicular to knd form a ninety (90) degree
angle with the curbline with the front wheels of the
vehicle at the curbline.
(a) On the west side of Jefferson Street between
State Street and Capitol Avenue.
Section 3. Anyone violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
