AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REPEALING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 6606 OF SAID CITY AND SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE
NUMBER 5999 (BEING SECTION 448 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1956) OF SAID CITY, RELATING TO THE
NUMBER OF PERSONNEL IN THE CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND ENACTING
A NEW ORDINANCE TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION 448 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1956, RELATING TO THE
SAME SUBJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Ordinance Number 6606 of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, and Section 2 of Ordinance 599 of
said City, being Section 448 of the Revised Ordinances of
.® the City of Jefferson, Missouri, be, and the same are hereby
repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby enacted a new ordinance to
be known as Section 2 of Ordinance Number 5999 of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, and as Section 448 of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956,
relating to the number of personnel in the Jefferson City
Fire Department, which ordinance shall read in words and
figures as follows:
"ORDINANCE NO. 5999
Section 2. (Section 448) Firemen Number,_ The
Fire Department of the City of efferson shall
consist of a fire chief' and twenty-seven
additional men."
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
