ORDINANCE NO. 7 2 6 5
AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF CLERK IN THE CITY
COLLECTOR'S OFFICE, PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT, TERM OF
OFFICE, DUTIES AND SUPERVISION OF SAID OFFICE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The office of City Collector's Clerk
is hereby created.
Section 2. The City Collector's Clerk shall be
appointed by the Mayor, upon the recommendation of the
City Collector, and with the approval of a majority of
the members of the City Council.
Section 3. The City Collector's Clerk shall serve at
the pleasure of the Mayor or until his or her successor
shall have been appointed and shall have qualified.
Section 4. The City Collector's Clerk shall perform
all duties delegated to her by the City Collector and
shall be under the supervision, and subject to the direction
and control, of the City Collector.
Section S. This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect from and after its passage and approval.
