AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CREATING
THE POSITION OF SURVEY PARTY CHIEF, SURVEY RODMAN AND
ENGINEERING DRAFTSMAN IN THE CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE, AND
PROVIDING FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT, TERM OF OFFICE, DUTIES AND
SUPERVISION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The positions of Survey Party Chief, Survey
Rodman and Engineering Draftsman are hereby established.
Section 2. The Survey Party Chief, two Survey Rodmen
and Engineering Draftsman shall be appointed by the Mayor,
upon the recommendation of the City Engineer, and with the
approval of a majority of the members of the City Council.
Section 3. The Survey Party Chief, Survey Rodmen and
Engineering Draftsman shall serve at the pleasure of the
Mayor or until their successors shall have been appointed
and qualified.
Section 4. The Survey Party Chief, Survey Rodmen and
Engineering Draftsman shall perform such duties as delegated
to them by the City Engineer and shall be under the supervision,
and subject to the direction and control, of the City
Engineer.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
