AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, TO ACCEPT A
QUITCLAIM DEED TO LAND LYING IN OUTLOT N0, 29 IN THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, SAID DEED BEING DATED AS OF JULY 19,
1962, AND EXECUTED BY THE MISSOURI POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY,
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK
OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE A WARRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,413.65
IN FAVOR OF THE MISSOURI POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY, AS PAYEE,
IN CONSIDERATION FOR THE TRANSFER OF SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri
is hereby authorized and directed to accept for and in the
name of said City a quitclaim deed, executed on July 19,
1962 by the Missouri Power and Light Company to the City,
as grantee, conveying certain described real estate located
in Outlot No. 29.
Section 2. Upon receipt of said deed, the Mayor and the
City Clerk of said city are hereby authorized and directed
to execute a wrrant in the name of the City in the amount
of $1,413.65 in favor of the Missouri Power and Light Company,
as payee, as the consideration and purchase price for the land
hereinabove mentioned.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
