AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, t,UTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE 1,MOR OF THE CI'T'Y OF JEFFERSON, IISSOURI, TO ACCEPT
IN THE NAME OF TI-IL-' CI`T'Y AN EAiSEMENT FOR STREET CONSTRUCTION
PURPOSES, EXECUTED ON JULY 19, 1962, BY THE MISSOURI POWER AND
LIGHT C0142ANY, :1S GRANTOR, TO THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS GRANTEE, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE
CITY CLERI: TO EXECUTE A CITY WARRANT IN THE AMIOUNT OF $10. 00
PAYABLE TO THE MISSOURI POWER AND LIGHT COI.iPANY AS CONSIDERATION
FOR SAID EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI`T'Y OF JEFFERSON,
1ISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor of said City is hereby directed to
accept a construction easement over land situated in Outlot No.
29 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, dated July 19, 1962
and executed by the Missouri Power & Light Company.
Section 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, are hereby authorized and directed to
execute a city warrant in the amount of $10. 00 in favor of
the Missouri Power and Light Company, as payee, in consideration
for the conveyance by said Missouri Power and Light Company
of a construction easement over land lying within Outlot
No. 29 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
