AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF CLERK-TYPIST IN THE
OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY OF JEFFERSON, MO., PROVIDING
FOR THE APPOINTMENT, TERM OF OFFICE, DUTIES AND SUPERVISION
OF SAID OFFICE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The office of Clerk-Typist in the Office
of the City Clerk is hereby created.
Section 2. The City Clerk's Clerk-Typist shall be
appointed by the Mayor, upon the recommendation of the
City Clerk, and with the approval of a majority of the
members of the City Council,
Section 3 . The City Clerk' s Clerk-Typist shall serve
at the pleasure of the Mayor, or, until his or her successor
shall have been appointed, and shall have qualified.
Section 4. The City Clerk's Clerk-Typist shall
perform all duties delegated to her by the City Clerk and
shall be under the supervision, and subject to the direction
and control of the City Clerk.
Section 5, This Ordinance shall be in force and
take effect from and after its passage and approval.
