ORDINANCE NO. 7278
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE PLAT OF WESTWOOD
SUBDIVISION , PART 2. A SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFF-
ERSON , MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. R. Sheldon Gentry and Rosemary D. Gentry,
owners of the real estate hereinafter described and situated in the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, having submitted to the Council for
approval a plat of said real estate, being located in Jefferson City,
Cole County, Missouri, and more particularly described as:
A part of the west 1/2 of the southwest 1/4, Section 12,
Twp'- 44, Range 12 West, Cole County, Missouri, and more
particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the
west boundary of the southwest quarter of Section 12 Twp
44 Range 12 west, said point being 1937.0 feet southerly of
the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of section 12
Twp. 44 Range 12 West; thence easterly at an angle of 90
degrees, 150 feet; thence at an angle of 33 degrees 05 minutes
to the left 257 feet; thence at angle 10 desgrees 33 minutes
to the right 582.4 feet to the westerly boundary of South-
West Blvd; thence northerly along and with the westerly bound-
ary of Southwest Blvd 1139.72 feet to the southeasterly
corner of Lot 30 Part 1 of Westwood Subdivision, said point
also being the southeasterly corner of Westwood Subdivision,
Part 1, as of record in Plat book 6, Page 47 Cole County
Recorders Office; thence southeasterly along and with the
southerly boundary of said Westwood Subdivision, Part one,
to a point on the west boundary of the southwest quarter of
Section 12 Twp. 44 Range 12 West, said point being the
® southwest corner of Lot 43, Part 1, Westwood Subdivision;
thence southerly along the west boundary of the southwest
quarter of said Section 12 Twp. 44 Range 12 West, 862 feet
to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. It appearing that said plat has been duly and
properly signed and accepted by the owners of said Subdivision,
known and referred to as Westwood Subdivision, Part 2, that all
taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the requirements of
Chapter 445 Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1949, and amendments
thereto, entitled "Plats11 have been fully complied with by the
aforesaid owners of the said Subdivision, and that in all respects
the requirements of the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, and of the ordinances of the City of Jeff-
erson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions have been complied
with, now therefore:

The Plat of land of R. Sheldon Gentry and Rosemary D. Gentry,
Known and referred to as Westwood Subdivision, Part 2, lying,
being and situate within the corporate limits of the City of Jeff-
erson, Missouri, as shown by the said Plat hereto attached and mad
a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted by the
City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and the Mayor
of said city and the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
after the passage and approval of this ;ordinance are given the
authority and are hereby directed to endorse acceptance of said
plat thereon and to certify to the approval of same under the seal
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
