AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
,�►� AMENDING, iiND MODIFYING THG� 'ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
r - MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NO. 5880 BY REZONING
CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROW DISTRICT "C"
LOCAL COMMERCIAL TO A DISTRICT "A-2" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, was petitioned in writing for the rezoning of the
land specifically described hereinafter from its present
"E" Local Commercial District to an "A-2" Single Family
Residential District.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, referred said petition for rezoning to the Planning
and Zoning Commission of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, after notice and hearing to all
interested parties and appropriate study and consideration
did recommend to the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, that the land specifically described hereinafter
be rezoned as petitioned, and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri , by and through its City Clerk has caused a notice
of hearing for the purpose of rezoning to be published
three (3) consecutive days in a newspaper of general
circulation within the City of Jefferson, Missouri , the last

day of publication having been more than fifteen 5) days
preceding the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein
such notice of rezoning all interested persons were requested
to appear before the City Council at the time and place
specified therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing
and expressing their views in support of or in opposition
to the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, has conducted said hearing and heard the views of
all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of the
land hereinafter described;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri , as incorporated into Ordinance No. 5880 of the
City, is hereby amended, changed and modified to reflect
the rezoning of the following described land from District
"E" Local Commercial to a District "A-2" Single Family Re-
sidential District :
"Lots 5 through 44 inclusive and Lots
46 through 54 inclusive of Lincoln
Subdivision to the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as appears of record in Plat
Book 6 at Page 75, Cole County Recorder's
Office. "
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take
