ORDINANCE NUMBER 7 2 9 6
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SUBPARAGRAPHS (E) , (H) AND (I) OF
PARAGRAPH (A) OF SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 7263 RELATING
TO PARALLEL AND ANGLE PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON VARIOUS
SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED PORTIONS OF STREETS WITHIN SAID CITY,
AND PROVIDING FOR THE PARALLEL PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES
ON MADISON STREET, ALONG THE EAST SIDE THEREOF, AND ON MONROE
STREET, ON BOTH SIDES THEREOF, BETWEEN McCARTY STREET AND MILLER
STREET, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Subparagraphs (e), (h) and (i) of paragraph A
of Section 2 of Ordinance Number 7263, authorizing and directing
the parking of motor vehicles at an angle along the east side
of Madison Street and along both sides of Monroe Street, between
qP McCarty Street and, Miller Street be, and the same are hereby
repealed.
Section 2. The operators of all motorvehicles, to be
parked on the east half of Madison Street, or on eithet side of
Monroe Street, between McCarty Street and Miller Street, shall
park said motor vehicles so that the right side of said motor
vehicle shall be parallel with and within one foot of the the
curbs of said streets.
Section 3. Anyone violating the terms of this ordinance
® shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
