AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE LOTS OR
TRACTS OF LAND ?FRONTING OR A131.JTTING ON MME I30,'WAY OF LIVINGSTON STREET FROM
STATION 4 / 01.4 TO STATION 8 � 59.8 IN THE CITY OF JUTFITRSON, !0ISSOUR2, FOR
THE IMPROVEIIIENT OF THE SAID ROARVAY BY MADING CURBING AND GUTTERING AND PAVING
WITH PORTLAPID CJ9.1ENT CONCRETE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI AS
FOLLOWS s
SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost price
per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this ordinance against the aggre-
gate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of Livingston
street from Station 4 � 01.4 to Station 8 � 59.8 in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri., for the improvement of the roadway Livingston Street aforesaid, in-
cluding such grading as may be necessary for the reception of a cement sidewalk,
the sum of $$10,222.37 as the total costs of the improvement of said street and
the number of front feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said Livingston
Street aforesaid,,Abetneen the aforesaid sta't'ions amount to 871.67, running feet;
the cost price per running foot is 4$11.72Y3_1
SECTION 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said roadway of
Livingston Street from Station 4 � 01.4 to Station 8 � 5908 there is hereby
levied and assessed the sum of x$11.72733 as a special tax against each front
foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway of Livingston Street between
the aforesaid stations and contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting
or abutting said improved roadway of said Livingston Street. •

SECTION 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the description
of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on each side of Livingston
Street from Station 4 f 01.4 to Station 8 � 59.8 and the number of front feet
owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so
owned and abutting said block or street between the aforesaid Stations and the
cost price per front foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and
assessed as a special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of grouid
fronting or abutting said Livingston Street or the roadway from Station 4 � 01.4
to Station 8 ¢ 59.8
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out special
taut bills in favor of the contractor Robert H. Livingston for the within mention
ed work in accordance with the ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
relative to said kind of work and in accordance with the Charter of said City
in regard to said work.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.
