BE IT ORDAINED BY 'I TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFLIZSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The following described tract of land in
Jefferson City, Cole County, Mlissouri, presently owned by the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby reserved from sale to
the public generally, or any member or members thereof :
"Beginning at a point on the Range Line between
Range 11 and Range 12, where said Range Line
intersects the southerly right of way line of
Hough Park Road, said point being 2, 808. 0 feet,
more or less, northerly of the southeast corner
of the NE 1/4 of the SG 1/4 of Section 24,
Township 44 North, Range 12 'Jest; thence southerly,
along and with the southerly right of way line
of Hough Park Road, 175. 0 feet; thence southerly
parallel to said Range Line to the northerly
right of way line of Arthur W. Ellis Boulevard;
thence westerly, along and with the northerly
right of way line of Arthur W. Ellis Boulevard,
to its intersection with said Range Line; thence
northerly along said Range Line 100.4 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning. "
Section 2. The above described property shall be retained
and reserved from sale by the City and beautified for the
use of the residents of the City in memory of former I.Iayor
Arthur W. Ellis.
Section 3. The Department ®f Streets of the
City shall beautify and maintain said tract of land as necessary.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
