J 1� AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE CITY COLLECTOR FROM ISSUING ANY
LICENSE TO ANY PERSON, FIRM, ASSOCIATION, PARTNERSHIP,
COMPANY OR CORPORATIONS TO PURSUE ANY BUSINESS, TRADE, VOCATION
OR OCCUPATION ENUMERATED IN SECTION 564 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, UNLESS THE
APPLICANT FOR SAID LICENSE SHALL HAVE PAID ALL PERSONAL
PROPERTY AND AD VALOREM TAXES WHICH ARE DUE AND UNPAID TO THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AT THE TIME OF THE FILING OF
THE APPLICATION FOR SUCH LICENSE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. No license shall be issued to any person,
firm, association, partnership, company or corporation to
pursue any business, trade, .vocation or occupation enumerated
in Section 564 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of
Jefferson, 1956, or required by any other ordinance of this
city to carry on any other business, trade, pursuit, vocation
or occupation, unless the applicant for said license shall
have first paid to the City of Jefferson, Missouri, all personal
property taxes and ad valorem taxes previously assessed against
the applicant which are due said City at the time of the
filing of the application for the license.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
® force from and after its passage and approval.
