AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON MISSOURI, REQUIRING
THE REPORT TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT 0P THE CITY OF ALL
ACCIDENTS INVOLVING ONE OR MORE MOTOR VEHICLES RESULTING IN
INJURY TO OR DEATH OF ANY PERSON OR DAMAGE TO ANY PERSONAL
PROPERTY TO AN APPARENT EXTENT OF TWENTY FIVE ($25.00 ) DOLLARS
OR MORE.

J BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident
within the City of Jefferson, Missouri, resulting in injury
to or death of any person or property damage to an apparent
extent of Twenty Five ($25. 00) Dollars or more, shall
immediately, by the quickest means of communication, either
verbal or written, give notice of such accident to the
police department of said city.
Section 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
