AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REgUIRING
AN ANNUAL AUDIT OF THE FINANCIAL AFFAIRS AND RECORDS OF
SAID CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. An audit of the financial affairs
and records of the city shall be made by a certified public
accountant annually, and the audit shall be commenced within
thirty (30) days after the close of business for the pre-
ceding fiscal year.
Section 2. The written report of said audit
1p shall be reviewed by the accountant with the Committee-of-
the-Whole of the City of Jefferson, Mo. , on or before
the fifteenth (15th) day of September, of the year in
which said audit is made following the commencement of the
audit.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
