AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING, AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NO. 5880 BY REZONING
CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM ITS PRESENT
DISTRICT "A-1" AND "A-2" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL CLASSIFICATION)
TO A DISTRICT "C" MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, was petitioned in writing for the rezoning of the
land specifically described hereinafter from its present
District "A-1" and "A-2" single family residential classification
to a District "C" multiple family dwelling classification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, referred said petition for rezoning to the Planning
and Zoning Commission of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, after notice and hearing to all
interested parties and appropriate study and consideration
did recommend to the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, that the land specifically described hereinafter be
rezoned as petitioned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, by and through its City Clerk has caused a notice
of hearing for the purpose of rezoning to be published

three consecutive days in a newspaper of general circulation
within the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last day of
publication having been more than fifteen (15) days preceding
the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein such
notice of rezoning all interested persons were requested to
appear before the City Council at the time and place specified
therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and
expressing their views in support of or in opposition to
the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, has conducted said hearing and heard the views of

NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance No. 5880 of the
City, is hereby amended, changed and modified to reflect the
rezoning of the following-described land from its present
"A-1" and "A-2" single family residential classification to a
"C" multiple family dwelling classification:
A tract of land lying in the City of Jefferson,
County of Cole, Missouri, and more particularly
described as follows: Part of the Northwest Quarter
of Section 12, Township 44 North, Range 12 West,
beginning at a point on the easterly right of way
line of Heisinger Road, said point being 250.0 feet
northerly of 'the northerly right of way line of U. S.
Highway 50 West (Dunklin Street) , thence northerly
along the easterly right of way line of Heisinger
Road to the southerly right of way line of St. Mary's
Boulevard; thence easterly along and with the southerly
right of way line of St. Mary's Boulevard, to the
westerly right of way line of Dix Road; thence southerly
along and with the westerly right of way line of Dix
Road to a point that is 200 feet northerly of the
northerly right of way line of U. S. Highway 50 West;
thence westerly 200 feet from and parallel to the northerly
right of way line of U. S. Highway 50 West, 775.0 feet,
more or less; thence northerly at right angles to the
last mentioned course 50 feet; thence westerly. on a
direct line to the point of beginning.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect from and after its passage and approval.
