AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING 'BIE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFEIrON,
MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880,
BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM A
DISTRICT "A-1" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION TO
A DISTRICT "A-2" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, received on March 6, 1963, a petition in writing
dated February 25, 1963, for the rezoning of land herein-
after described from a District "A-1" to a District "A-2"
classification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council on March 6, 1963, did
refer said written petition to the City Planning and Zoning
Commission, and
WHEREAS, said Planning and Zoning Commission, after
hearing held March 6, 1963, and study and consideration,
did recommend to the City Council that the land described
hereinafter be rezoned as petitioned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, by and through its City Clerk has caused a notice
of hearing for the purpose of rezoning to be published
three consecutive days in a newspaper of general circulation
within the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last day of
publication having been more than fifteen (15) days preceding
the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein such
notice of rezoning all interested persons were requested to
appear before the City Council at the time and place specified
therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and
expressing their views in support of or in opposition to
the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission,
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, has conducted said hearing and heard the views
of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of
the land hereinafter described,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as
amended, of the City is hereby changed, amended and
modified to reflect the rezoning of the following-described
property from its present District "A-1" Single Family
Residence Classification to a District "A-2" Single Family
Residence Classification, and the following-described
property is, and it is hereby rezoned accordingly:
"The northerly part of Outlot No. 91,
in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of
said Outlot No. 91, thence southerly
along the easterly line thereof, 9.60 chains,
thence westerly parallel with the northerly
line of said outlot to the westerly line
thereof, thence northerly along the westerly
line of said Outlot 9.60 chains to the
northwesterly corner thereof, thence easterly
along the northerly line of said outlot,
to the point of beginning, containing 14
acres, more or less."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage and approval .
