AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING ALqP OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER
58801 BY REZONING 0 CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LLD FROM
A DISTRICT "D" MULTIPLE DWELLING AND A DISTRICT "I" LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION TO A DISTRICT "E" LOCAL COMMERCIAL
CLASSIFICATION
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, was petitioned in writing to rezone land hereinafter
described, and
WHEREAS, said petition was referred by the Council
to the City Planning & Zoning Commission for its consideration,
hearing and recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning & Zoning Commission, by
its report dated March 15, 1963, did recommend to the
Council at its meeting of March 18, 1963, that the land
hereinafter described be rezoned from its present District
"D" Multiple Dwelling and District "I" Light Industrial
Classifications to a District "E" Local Commercial Class-
ification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, by and through its City Clerk has caused a notice
AM of hearing for the purpose of rezoning to be published
three consecutive days in a newspaper of general circulation
within the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last day of
publication having been more than fifteen days preceding
the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein such
notice of rezoning all interested parties were requested to
appear before the City Council at the time and place specified
therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and
expressing their views in support of or in opposition to
the recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, has conducted said hearing and heard the views
of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of
the land hereinafter described,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MMOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance No. 5880, as
amended, of said city, is hereby changed, amended and
modified to reflect the rezoning of the following-described
property from its present District "D" Multiple Dwelling
and District "I" Light Industrial Classifications to a
District "E" Local Commercial Classification, and the
following-described property is, and it is hereby, rezoned
accordingly:
"All of Inlots No's 6721 6730, 6741?
6751 680, 681, 682, 683, 688, 689,
690 and 691 in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri" .
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage and approval .
