ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON MISSOURI, PROVIDING
FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF A PENALTY AGAINST APPLICANTS
FOR ANY DELINQUENT INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE, NON-INTOXICATING
BEER LICENSE, OR MERCHANTS LICENSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby levied against each
applicant for an intoxicating liquor license, a non-
intoxicating beer license, or a merchants license of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, a penalty of Five ($5.00)
Dollars each month, or any portion thereof, for-which such
license is delinquent at the time of its renewal _ or, issuance.
Section 2. The city collector is directed to collect
the penalty from the applicant for any delinquent license
specified in Section 1 at the same time as the amount of
the license is collected.
Section 3. The city collector shall not issue a license
which is delinquent without first collectin4 the amount
thereof, as specified by ordinance of the city, and any penalty
due thereon.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage and approval.
