ORDINANCE NO.
48 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CREATING THE
POSITION OF SURVEY PARTY CHIEF, SURVEY RODMEN AND ENGINEERING
DRAFTSMAN IN THE CITY ENGINEER' S OFFICE, PRESCRIBING FOR THEIR
APPOINTMENT, TERM OF OFFICE, DUTIES AND SUPERVISION, AND REPEALING
ORDINANCE NO. 7266 OF THE CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The positions of Survey Party Chief, Survey Rodmen and
Engineering Draftsman are hereby established.
Section 2. The Survey Party Chief, three Survey Rodmen and
Engineering Draftsman shall be appointed by the Mayor, upon the
recommendation of the City Engineer, and with the approval of a
majority of the members of the City Council.
SECTION 3. The Survey Party Chief, Survey Rodmen and Engineering
Draftsman shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor or until their
successors shall have been appointed and qualified.
Section 4. The Survey Party Chief, Survey Rodmen and Engineering
Draftsman shall perform such duties as delegated to them by the
City Engineer and shall be under the supervision, and subject
to the direction and control, of theCity Engineer.
Section 5. Ordinance No. 7266 of the City is, and it is hereby,
repealed insofar as said ordinance conflicts with the provisions
of this ordinance.
Section 6. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
as of January 7, 1963 from and after its passage and approval.
