AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY, FOR
AND IN THE NAME OF THE CITY, TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE
STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF MISSOURI, RELATING TO THE CON-
STRUCTION, MAINTENANCE, CONTROL AND REGULATION OF ROADWAY—
LIGHTING FACILITIES AND TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS AND THE CON-
STRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF SANITARY SEWER AND STORM WATER
FACILITIES WITHIN THE RIGHT OF WAY OF U.S. HIGHWAY 50
EXTENDING FROM HARRISON STREET TO THE WEST CITY LIMITS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City are
hereby authorized and directed, for and in the name of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, to enter into and execute a
contract with the State Highway Commission of the State of
Missouri relating to the construction, maintenance, control
and regulation of roadway lighting facilities and traffic
control signs and the construction and maintenance of sanitary
sewers and storm water facilities within the right of way of
U.S . Highway 50, extending from Harrison Street to the west
city limits of the City.
Section 2. Said contract shall read in words and figures
as follows:
