AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON MISSOURI, REGULATING
THE OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES WITHM THE CITY, AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF SHE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The operator of a vehicle moving in an
easterly or westerly direction on Hillsdale Street, when
approaching and before entering the intersection formed by
Hillsdale Street and Binder Drive, shall yield the right of
may to a vehicle being operated on Binder Drive which is either
entering, or approaching so closely to, the intersection of
Hillsdale Street and Binder Drive as to constitute an immediate
hazard.
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provision
of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not more than
$100.00 or be imprisoned in jail for not more than 90 days,
or be punished both by such fine and imprisonment.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage and approval.
