ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON MISSOURI, REgULATING
THE OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON iii ROADWAYS OF THE CITY,
AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE.*IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Right of Wa . The operator of a vehicle
moving in a northerly rec on on Ewing Drive when approaching
and immediately before entering the intersection formed by
Ewing Drive and Dunklin Street shall yield the right of
way to a vehicle being operated on Dunklin Street which is
either entering, or approaching so closely to, said inter-
section as to constitute an immediate hazard.
Section 2. Pen�altj. Any person violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not
more than $100.00 or be imprisoned in jail for not more than
90 days, or be punished both by such fine and imprisonment.
Section 3. Effective Date; This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force-7rom and after its passage and
approval.
