This amendatory agreement entered into 'this
day of , 1965, by and between -the llousing
Authority of the City of Jefferson, His ouri, (heroin
called "Local Authority' ) and the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, (herein called "i,un:icipality" ) ,
t•JITNESSETS :
W1ILREAS, the I-:unicipality and the Local Authority
have entered into a certain Cooperation Agreement dated
February 41 1958, providing for aid and cooperation in
respect to low-rent housing Projects developecx and to
be developed and operated by the Local Authority with
the financial assistance of the Public l;ousinp Adminis-
tration (herein called 11 PHIA" ) ; and
i', UZEAS, the aforesaid Cooperation Agrccment I:ro-
vides among other things that in respect to any Project
for which 170 :annual Contributions Contract has been
entered into prior to .,LuLI;us , _'., 1c'54, between the local
Authority and the 1I:.:i, the Local 2.uthori.ty would repay
to the i`'1`.,',, and the I.un_i.cil;alit-y on botxalf of the local
public oodi.es whichl have contriouted to such Project
in proportion tc: . the ar r'et_;ate contribution w;,ich the
PEA and the local s,ublic ao(lies have made to such Pro-
ject at the tine s and fro;-ii the funds therein described;
and
such rc;;ayiuent p=rovisions were required by
Sec. 10(j ) of the United States lousing i,ct of 1957,
as acicicd by t1-10 I-Iousin,.; Act of 1954 (68 Stat. 590, 632)
which recpuire:neat was repo-aled effective June 30, 19612
by the Nousin- Act of 1961 (75 Stat . 149, 165) ; and
