AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING ORDINANCE
NUMBER 7203 OF THE CITY, KNOWN AS THE PLUMBING CODE OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY REPEALING AND REENACTING SECTION 1 .17 OF
CHAPTER I OF SAID ORDINANCE, RELATING TO LICENSE FEES FOR PLUMBERS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1.17 of Chapter I of Ordinance Number 7203
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, be, and the same is hereby,
repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby enacted a new provision of Chapter
I of Ordinance Number 72031 to be known as Section 1 .17 thereof,
which shall read in words and figures as follows:
"Section 1.17 . Licenses and 2ermitsi cost renewal .
The annual license fee for a Master Plumber shall
be $75.00. The annual license fee for a Journeyman
Plumber shall be $5 .00 . The licenses shall expire on the
31st day of December of each year, but may be renewed
annually upon payment of the applicable fee and the
renewal of bond where required in Section 1.20. Such
license and permitfees shall be paid to and collected
by the City Collector. Neither a Master Plumber's
license nor a Journeyman Plumber's license shall -be
issued to any person unless such person has passed
the applicable examination of the Board of Examiners of
Plumbers as provided in 1 .141 except as authorized under
Section 1.16 ."
Section 3. This ooldinance shall take effect and be in
force on December 311 1963 upon its passage and approval.
