ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 7486 OF THE CITY, RELATING AMONG OTHER
THINGS TO THE VARIOUS GRADES IN RANK AMONG THE PERSONNEL
IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, BY REPEALING SECTION 16 THEREOF
RELATING TO THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 7486
and enacting A NEW SECTION 16 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 7486
RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Section 16 of Ordinance Number 7486 of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri , prescribing the effective date
of said Ordinance, is hereby repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby enacted a new provision to
be known as Section 16 of Ordinance Number 7486 relating to
and providing for the effective date of Ordinance Number 7486
which shall read in words and figures as follows :

Section 16. This ordinance shall take effect and be
considered in full force as of January 1, 1964 from and after
the passage and approval of this ordinance. "
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
