ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 7190 REGULATING TAXICAB COMPANIES, BY
REPEALING SECTION 10 THEREOF PRESCRIBING INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS,
AND REPNACING SECTION 10 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 7190 RELATING
TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Section 10 of Ordinance Number 7190,
regulating taxicab companies be, and the same is hereby,
repealed.
Section 2. A new provision, to be known as Section 10
of Ordinance Number 7190 is hereby enacted and it shall
read in words and figures as follows:

Section 10. Insurance Requirements. Every If
holder of a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity
to conduct the operations of a taxicab business
within this city shall at all times during the j
course of such operations have on file and approved I
by the City Marshal a Certificate of Public
Liability and Property Damage Insurance covering j
each motor vehicle being operated in said taxicab
business by the holder of the Certificate of
Convenience and Necessity in the minimum amounts
of $5,000.00 for injury or death to any one person,
$10,000.00 for injuries or deaths from any one
accident, and $51000 .00 property damage for any one
accident .
The following endorsement shall be attached
to each certificate of insurance hereinabove required:
"The policy to which this endorsement is
attached shall not expire, nor shall the
cancellation, revocation or suspension thereof
take effect, until after ten (10) days notice
in writing by the company or insurer shall
have first been given to the City Marshal
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, in care
of the City Hall Building, Jefferson City,
Missouri , said period of ten (10) days notice
to commence to run from the date that notice
is actually received at the office of the
City Marshal of the City of Jefferson, Missouri .
