ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER
5880, BY REZONING A CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND
FROM A DISTRICT "C" MULTIPLE DWELLING CLASSIFICATION TO
DISTRICT "D" MULTIPLE DWELLING CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, was petitioned in writing to rezone land herein-
after described from its present District "C" Classification
to a District "D" Classification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did refer said petition
for rezoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission
for its consideration, hearing and recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning & Zoning Commission, after
hearing, study and consideratinn did recommend to the City
Council by its report, received and read by the Council on
July 171 1964, that the land hereinafter described be
rezoned as petitioned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, by and through its City Clerk has caused a notice
of hearing for the purpose of rezoning to be published
® three consecutive days in a newspaper of general circulation
within the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last day of
publication having been more than fifteen days preceding
the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein such
notice of rezoning all interested parties were requested to
appear before the City Council at the time and place specified
therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and
expressing their views in support of or in opposition to
the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, has conducted said hearing and heard the views
of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of
the land hereinafter described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIIE CITY COUNCIL
• OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON , MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as
amended, of said city, is hereby changed, amended and
modified to reflect the rezoning of the following-described
property from its present District "C" Multiple Dwelling
Classification to District "D" Multiple Dwelling Classification,
and the following-described property is, and it is hereby
rezoned accordingly:
All of that portion of Inlots 746 and
747 lying north of the right of way of
the Rex M. Whitton Expressway
® Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage and approval .
