ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,' CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,'
MISSOURI,'AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY REZONING
A CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM A DISTRICT "A-l"
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL CLASSIFICATION TO "F" HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL
CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, was petitioned
in writing to rezone land hereinafter described from its present District '!A-l"
Single Family Residential Classification to a District "F" Highway Commercial,

WHEREAS, the City Council did refer said petition for rezoning to the City
Planning and Zoning Commission for its consideration,' hearing and recommend-
ation,' and
WHEREAS, the City Planning & Zoning Commission,' after hearing, study
and consideration did recommend to the City Council by its report filed on
September 22, 1964, that the land hereinafter described be rezoned as petitioned,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,` Missouri, by and
through its City Clerk has caused a notice of hearing for the purpose of rezoning
to be published three consecutive days in a newspaper of general circulation
within the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last day of publication having been
more than fifteen days preceding the date of the hearing by the City Council,
wherein such notice of rezoning all interested parties were requested to appear
before the City Council at the time and place specified therein for the purpose of
attending a public hearing and expressing their views in support of or in
opposition to the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, of the City of Jefferson,' Missouri, has conducted
said hearing and heard the views of all persons expressing an interest in the
rezoning of the land hereinafter described.

NOW,'THEREFORE,.BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,'AS FOLLOWS:
® Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,' Missouri, as
incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880,' as amended, of said city,` is
hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect the rezoning of the
following-described property from its present District "A-1" Single
Family Residential Classification to District "F" Highway Commercial
Classification,' and the following-described property is,' and it is hereby
rezoned accordingly:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Stadium Drive and
the proposed West service road of Highway 54 (relocated
Jefferson Street); thence Westerly along the Southerly
right-of-way line of Stadium Drive,' 350 feet; thence
® Southerly, parallel to the right-of-way of the proposed
service road 450 feet; thence Easterly parallel to the
Southerly right-of-way line of Stadium Drive to the
proposed right-of-way line of said West service road;
thence Northerly along the Westerly right-of-way line
of said West service road to the point of beginning.
Section 2; This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval,
