ORDINANCE LEVYING N AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE
AN
LOTS OR TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING OR ABUTTING ON THE ROADWAY OF
(BALD HILL ROAD BETWEEN THE WESTERLY CURB LINE OF HOBBS TERRACE
,AND THE EASTERLY CURB LINE OF PEYTON DRIVE IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE SAID ROADWAY BY CURBING AND
' GUTTERING WITH PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate
and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this
Ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting
or abutting on- the- roadway of Bald Hill Road between the westerly
curb line of Hobbs Terrace and the easterly curb line of Peyton
Drive in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of
the roadway of Bald Hill Road, aforesaid, the sum of $2,461.77 as
the total costs of the improvement of said street and the number
of front feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said Bald Hill
Road, aforesaid, between the aforesaid streets amount to 1,448.10
running feet; the cost price per running foot is $1.70.

SECTION 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said
roadway of Bald Hill Road by curbing and guttering with Portland
Cement concrete between the westerly curb line of Hobbs Terrace
and the easterly curb line of Peyton Drive, there is hereby levied
and assessed the sum of $1. 70 as a special tax against each front
foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway of Bald Hill Road
between the aforesaid streets, and contained in such lot or piece
of ground fronting or abutting said improvement of the roadway of
said Bald Hill Road.
SECTION 3. The name of each property owner or owners and
the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abut-
ting on each side of Bald Hill Road and the number of front feet
owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts
of land so owned and abutting said block or street between the
aforesaid streets and the cost price per front foot for said
Improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as a special
tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of ground

fronting or abutting said Bald Hill Road between the westerly
. curb line of Hobbs Terrace and the easterly curb line of Peyton
Drive.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make
out special tax bills in favor of the contractor, E. P. Barnett,
for the within mentioned work in accordance with the ordinances
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work
and in accordance with the Charter of said City in regard to
said work.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
